As a mother of two little boys, I understand the importance of flexibility. To keep everyone happy, I try to make sessions as natural and comfortable as possible. I will come in with some ideas for images, and will give you a chance to suggest things you're hoping to capture, as well. You'll find I'm less concerned with posing, and more attempting to capture you as you are. That being said, I can help you with angles or what to do with your hands.

I love to use golden hour, which is the hour after sunrise and the hour before sunset. If we do an outdoor session, that's when we'll go for. For indoor sessions, we'll plan for whenever the light is best in the rooms you want to use in your home.

For family photos, coordinating (but not matching) outfits look the best. Typically, I suggest clients start with mom's outfit and build out from there. I LOVE to help with styling, and am happy to do so with you. I'm generally drawn to earthy tones and neutrals, and I love southwestern-feeling items.

As a tip, you should be comfortable and feel both beautiful and happy in what you're wearing - it's not fun to be tugging at your dress the whole session.

Your will receive an online gallery link with your photos in a maximum of 4 weeks, unless otherwise stated. You can download all the photos from the gallery, and also share them to social media, create a gallery of your favorites, and order prints.
